RDA Canada helping Zalambessa IDPs currently living in Adigrat , Tigray

Purpose
The aim of the project is to financially support as many internally displaced families as possible, with particular focus on those led by female family members.
THE PROCESS:
We signed a contractual agreement with an intermediary to help us distribute the money.
We worked with the IDP committee in Adigrat and the City mayor of Zalambessa to ensure transparency through-out the process.
Due to RDA’s financial limitations, we were able to select only 125 families.
We will donate $3,000 per family for a total amount of $375,000 Ethiopian birr.
$25,000 birr will be used for administrative and media coverage expenses by the IDP committee, this was done as per the contractual agreement.
We would like to continue to help as many IDPs as possible and reach those who were not selected in the round.
We are able to help these 125 women with as little as $5,000 Canadian dollars we collected from donors like you, please donate and help us sustain our charitable work.
